The Perkins� Syncro 2.2 engine is the newest member of the highlysuccessful Perkins 400 Series and has been designed to help ourcustomers meet current emissions standards in North America.The engine is a 4-cylinder, 2.2 litre, turbocharged engine that offerssupreme reliability, flexibility and an easy integration process.Benefiting from a fully electronic fuel system, the engine further improveson the 400 Series reputation of excellent transient performance and lowfuel consumption. It produces 36.4 kW (48.8 hp) and delivers excellenttorque at low speeds, reduced owner and operating costs and low noiseand harshness.Commonality with other engines in the range has been built into thisnew engine, allowing for minimum machine change and reduceddevelopment costs for Perkins customers.We have developed a reputation for designing and building reliableand durable engines suitable for the most demanding off-highwayapplications.
